So... this was a nice little gift shop with a good mix of things for kids, science toys, and small souvenirs. The prices weren’t bad either. My son ended up finding a dinosaur kit he was really excited about, so I’d definitely call that a win.

I thought there were some cool parts, and you can definitely find a few interesting things here and there. But after a while, I felt like the educational side was shallow, so you don’t really walk away having learned much

The animal exhibits were nice enough, and the kids had fun watching the otters and birds. Some areas just felt a bit small, though, and there wasn’t a whole lot happening in certain spots. Not saying it’s a scam, but for the visit, I was expecting a little more overall. It was okay, just not something that really blew us away

The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome, which I really appreciated. It did seem like they were a bit busy, so things felt slightly rushed at times, but not in a terrible way. Overall it was a good visit, just not totally smooth.

The kids absolutely loved it, which was the main thing, and we ended up having a really nice time too. It was fun, a bit tiring, and kind of chaotic at moments, but in a good way I guess. Overall, a really lovely place for a family day.

I’d say maybe a third of the exhibits felt broken, outdated, or just past their prime. The hands-on stuff was okay in spots, but a lot of it seemed tired, like it hadn’t been refreshed in years.

I mostly went because I thought the hands-on stuff would be the best part, but it was kinda disappointing. A lot of the exhibits felt worn down, and some of the buttons was either broken or just didn’t do anything.

My kids did find a couple things to mess around with, so it wasn’t a total bust, but they got bored way faster than I expected. Some stations was missing pieces too, and a few displays weren’t really clear on what they were supposed to be teaching.
The staff were nice and helpful enough, so no complaints there. I just felt like for the price, more of the interactive stuff should have been working, and I probably wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

I got this for my 11-year-old, and they seemed to lose interest quickly. I’m not totally sure if we just picked the wrong activities, but a lot of it felt like it was aimed more at younger kids. I do wish the site made the age range a bit clearer.

Parking was really easy for us. It was close by and didn’t turn into some stressful hassle, which was such a relief

We went on a weekend it was packed. It was hard to see much, and the kids couldn’t really enjoy anything because we were constantly trying to move around people. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely felt too crowded for us. I also don’t love when places respond with those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” apologies instead of actually addressing the issue. Probably wouldn’t go back on a weekend

It was okay overall, but the bathrooms definitely need some attention. For what I paid, I was hoping they’d be cleaner and better maintained...

Really clean place. Even the bathrooms were in good shape, which I always notice. The floors looked well kept, and the exhibits too. Just felt nice bringing my kids here. No worries, no weird messes, just a clean spot to enjoy.

I hopped on boonshoft.org before visiting to check the hours and accessibility info, and it was painless. I was on my phone the whole time, and the site was easy enough to get around without pinching and zooming all over the place.

The pages loaded normally, the text was easy to read, and I found the parking, ticket, and visitor info without wandering through a bunch of random sections. It felt simpler than some other museum sites I’ve used, especially when you’re just trying to get the basics and get out.

I really appreciated that the accessibility details weren’t buried somewhere weird. Planning with my family can already be a lot, so having that info right there made things less stressful. Nothing fancy, but it does what it needs to

I mean, the tickets were priced fair, so that was really nice. It ended up being, like, a fun day out with my kids without feeling like I spent way too much.

We went to the weekend event with the kids, and they absolutely loved it like it was the best thing to ever happen to them. They were smiling nonstop, running around, and talking about it the whole way home. Such a fun special event for families!

Took the kids to the planetarium and it was such a nice time, kind of one of those outings where you think it’ll be okay and then everyone ends up totally into it. The star show was really cool, the kids kept whispering questions the whole time, and I have to say the seats were surprisingly comfy too, which definitely helped. Just a fun, easy visit overall

My kids were excited when we first got there, and they really liked the hands-on stuff, especially the animals and the space area. They were busy, busy for a bit, and it was cute watching them run around and try things out.

After about an hour though, they started getting bored, and I noticed a few things looked worn out or just weren’t working right. It wasn’t a bad visit at all, just kind of okay, okay for us.

I was really hoping this would make the birthday party easier and more fun, but it ended up being a mess. For the price, I expected a lot more, especially clearer instructions on how everything was supposed to work. It just felt confusing and not worth the money.

The membership just isn’t worth the price. I signed up thinking it would actually give me some real value, and now I feel kind of stupid for trusting them. For what you get, it’s way too expensive, and I definitely wouldn’t do it again.

We stopped for lunch during our visit and grabbed pizza, chips, and drinks. the food was good for a place like this, and it was fresh enough without having to wait forever. The prices were about what I expected, though you can kind of tell they know families don’t have a ton of other options once they’re inside. Still, the kids were happy, and that’s what mattered most. The staff was nice too, even when it started getting busy.
